I didn’t even know what I was doing back then, just that I transported my mind to my happy place and it helped to speed up my healing process.

We can integrate mindfulness into our everyday activities to enhance awareness and reduce stress. For example, while brushing your teeth, focus on the sensations of the toothbrush on your teeth and the taste of the toothpaste. When washing dishes, pay attention to the warmth of the water and the sound of the running water.

Remember, mindfulness is not about achieving perfection but rather about cultivating a greater awareness of the present moment. We can develop this skill through consistent practice. By incorporating it into your daily life, you can experience increased well-being, improved focus, and a greater sense of peace.
